Visiting Times
In most wards, visiting times are from 8am to 10pm. However, there may be times when you will be asked to leave the ward. This include when staff need to provide personal care; when staff need to treat or speak to patients in private; if patients need to leave the ward for tests; or if visitors’ behaviour disrupts other patients or staff. Please check with the ward before making planning your visit.
Parking Information
Car Parking
Car parking spaces are available, including disabled car parking. There is a drop-off area at the main entrance, but then please park in a designated space.
The hospital now has designated short and long stay parking areas. You can park in the short stay areas for a maximum of three hours and the long stay areas have no time limit.
Disabled Parking
Disabled parking facilities are close to the hospital entrance. The main disabled car park is situated to the right of the main driveway opposite the entrance to the Physiotherapy Department. Disabled parking bays are exempt from the parking time limits.
There are signs directing you to this facility as you approach the hospital. Disabled and drop off parking areas are patrolled ay Ayrshire Roads Alliance and inappropriate use of these spaces may result in a fine.
