Using Jobtrain

All applications for jobs are made electronically via the national NHSScotland Recruitment system called Jobtrain.  A guide to the NHSScotland application process is available here Your guide to the NHSScotland application process | NHSScotl

Please make sure your email is correct as this will be the primary method of contact throughout the recruitment process.

Please note that CVs are not accepted as an alternative to completing the online application form and it is important you complete all sections of the application form as an incomplete application form is likely to result in you not being shortlisted.

Please ensure you check the content of your application and the information provided is the most up-to date, including the following information:

  • Your telephone number and email address
  • Your driving licence details are added (if applicable), particularly if it is a mandatory requirement for the position you are applying for
  • Your professional registration details are added (if applicable) e.g. NMC, HCPC, GMC
  • Details for two referees, one of which must be your current or most recent employer.  Please ensure you add their correct email address and telephone number
