On behalf of NHS Ayrshire & Arran, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our staff working across health and social care for everything they do, every day and every week of the year.
Our staff work across a complex health and care system, and 2024 has been another challenging year. Yet our staff have continued to respond to the high demand on our services, and for that I am incredibly grateful.
Throughout the year, several of our staff members and services have been recognised for their contribution via a wide range of local and national awards and accolades. Each provides a glimpse into the high standards of personal and professional care we aim to provide.
Feedback about how it has felt to receive the care we deliver whether from a patient, a family member or carer is important. When we get it right, it is rewarding, as well as an important source of pride. Getting it right for those we meet is why we do the jobs we do.
As we look to the new year, we know that 2025 will not be without its challenges. However, through our staff we have good foundations, and there is much to look forward to.
On behalf of NHS Ayrshire & Arran, I would like to thank all our staff working across health and social care this festive season. I would like to wish you and your family a happy and safe celebration period and hope that 2025 is kind.
