Rescheduled vaccine clinic – 24 July 2024

  • by NHSAAA
Don't let your protection fade

The vaccine clinic previously planned for 4 July 2024 has been rescheduled to Wednesday 24 July 2024. The clinic will take place in the Ormidale Sports Pavilion, Brodick from 10.45am to 5.30pm.

People on Arran who had a previous appointment should come along at their original appointment time. For those people whose appointment was originally between 9am and 10.44am, we will contact them to offer them another time on 24 July.

If you are unable to attend on the rescheduled date, please follow the instructions on your letter to reschedule your appointment.

NHS Ayrshire & Arran Public Health Assistant Director, Lisa Davidson, explains:

“We would encourage those eligible to come along to get their shingles vaccine, pneumococcal vaccine or COVID-19 booster. Getting vaccinated is the safest and most effective way to protect yourself, and so I’d encourage everyone invited to take up the offer.

“Even if you had a COVID-19 vaccine in the winter, it’s important for those in a more at risk group to get another dose this spring, as protection can fade over time.

“Please note this is your last opportunity to get your COVID-19 Spring / Summer booster vaccine.”
