Everyone with asthma should have a Personalised Asthma Action Plan (PAAP). This self-management plan includes information on which medicines to take (to prevent symptoms and risk of an asthma attack), how to recognise and respond to worsening symptoms, what emergency action to take if you’re having an asthma attack and when to call 999.
A PAAP is personal to you, it should be completed in partnership with your Asthma Nurse or GP.
