Do you have a concern you would like to speak to someone about?
You can contact our Speak Up Advocates (SUA’s), in confidence. They will be happy to listen to your concerns, talk you through your options in relation to raising a concern. They will listen to you without prejudice or judgment and support you. They can arrange to speak with you on the phone, via MS Teams or arrange to meet face to face.
Our SUA’s have been recruited from our workforce, they come from various disciplines and are located at various sites across the organisation. Their role is to provide information, advice, guidance and support to those who are considering or wish to raise concerns.
They are able to signpost staff to:
- suitable routes for raising concerns;
- advising of the options available;
- relevant Board policies including Whistleblowing;
- key contacts; and
- how to access support.
The SUA’s are able to link with relevant managers, and provide support by attending any meetings with the staff member.
Confidentiality is likely to be a worry for anyone who is considering speaking up. It is important that you understand that the SUA will not normally share your details with anyone until you give your consent.
