NHS Ayrshire & Arran is inviting patients and visitors to participate in a travel survey to help shape changes to parking, traffic circulation and active travel at Ayrshire Central Hospital (ACH) in Irvine.
The survey is open to staff as well as visitors to the hospital and patients attending appointments there. If you want to get involved, you can do so online by clicking here
https://tinyurl.com/ystyahnc, or alternatively you can pick up a paper copy at Ayrshire Central Hospital. It takes around eight minutes to complete and is open until Friday 19 August 2024.
William Lauder, General Manager ACH said: “We are looking at making changes to how traffic moves around the hospital site, the parking, and active travel so we want to be well informed about the travel behaviours of those coming to Ayrshire Central, whether for a regular commute or occasional visit. We’d love to hear from as many people as possible who are travelling to the hospital so that we can better understand the barriers and incentives to walking, cycling and using public transport. We’re also looking at parking behaviour as land previously available for parking will soon be restricted, as the area to the south of the hospital site will be developed for housing.
“So please get involved either digitally by completing the online survey or collect a paper copy from Ayrshire Central Hospital on your next visit.”
