This week is Volunteers’ week, and it provides NHS Ayrshire & Arran with an opportunity to recognise and celebrate the many volunteers who support our hospital services throughout the year.

We recognise the positive contribution our volunteers make across the organisation, bringing a wealth of skills, knowledge and experience and who all make such a difference to patients, their families and staff.

Executive Nurse Director, Jennifer Wilson, is extending her thanks to all our volunteers:  “On behalf of NHS Ayrshire & Arran, I would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all the volunteers who selflessly give their time, skills, and energy to support our healthcare system.

“The unwavering dedication and commitment that our volunteers demonstrate to helping others makes a significant impact on the lives of countless patients and their families.

“Their contributions do not go unnoticed, and we are truly grateful for all of their generosity and kindness.  Their willingness to step up and lend a helping hand reinforces the spirit of community and compassion that defines our NHS.”
