NHS Ayrshire & Arran Public Health Director Lynne McNiven said:

“We are delighted that the community pharmacy on Arran is supporting this part of the winter vaccine programme, enabling any people on the island who have missed earlier appointments for seasonal flu and COVID vaccines to get the protection of those vaccinations this winter.

“The Arran Pharmacy will provide seasonal flu vaccines to anyone eligible age 18 years and older and COVID vaccines to those eligible who are 12 years and older. Simply call the number to make your appointment to attend the pharmacy.

“If your child aged under 18 has missed their seasonal flu vaccine in the child flu programme in schools, nurseries and pre-school clinics then please contact Lamlash Medical Centre direct to make arrangements to attend the weekly child vaccine clinic, as the Arran Pharmacy will not be able to provide child flu vaccines.”
